Kids at SPRINGBroOK
At Springbrook Church, we understand and value the role of parents in the discipleship of their children. This means that at Springbrook Church, we come alongside parents in partnership, by welcoming families to worship together in the service and by offering gospel-centered teaching in our children’s ministry called Roots.
Because we believe parents are the primary disciplers of their children, we also believe that children should participate in worship with their parents at a young age. All children in 3rd grade and older will join us upstairs for worship in the sanctuary.
Roots is a safe place for children in 2nd grade and under to learn about God’s salvation through Jesus. We gather in two classrooms; one for children 0 to 3 years old and one for children 3 years old through 2nd grade.
Each week, our teachers prepare a lesson from the Gospel Project Curriculum, and each week, our parents are given Home-Discipleship resources to help them continue teaching their child about Jesus at home.
Roots Mission Statement
Roots exists to build a firm, gospel-centered foundation for children by teaching the Bible in a safe and developmentally appropriate environment, fostering healthy teacher-child relationships, and partnering with parents in the discipleship of their children.
